Wonderfully articulated Barakallah.

Take my suggestion : Instead of links to the songs, try writing the lyrics or add videos that have no graphics/ visuals just the lyrics.

Jazakallahu khairan kaseerah

Jazakallahu khairan for the naseehah, Allah reward you.

I thought about this when writing it, but it was a conscious choice.

The links are there to add effect and removing them imo would take away a significant from the essay which I felt was important.

They are also links, and clicking into them is a choice.

That being said, I'll think about it.

"They are also links, and clicking into them is a choice."

I agree that indeed it is a choice but the explicit details mentioned may create triggers in some and the accessible link makes it even more easier to reach the sin.

But yes, if the links weren't provided and then the person searched for it, then the whole blame is upon them. But when we put the whole meal infront of someone fasting, and expect them to bear patience with it.... Then, i hope you are getting the point my respected brother.

Wallah in no way do I mean to demean you. A very humble suggestion this is.

بارك الله فيك

السلام علیکم ورحمة الله وبركاته أخي

Please do reconsider the naseehah given by sister Fatima. This work of yours was extremely good and none can reward you with a befitting reward for this amazing work except Allah The Exalted.

Although it is perfect from every aspect, one thing is I'm afraid the links to songs especially while mentioning the sensual scenes shown in them, might cause others to fall into the sin of unnecessary checking out things despite your clear details on it. The link makes it easily accessible, thus providing an easy way for those who may have a slight disease in their heart. What i fear worst is that you unintentionally will be attaining their share of sin. I get it that your intentions are good, but isn't it better, my brother, that we take precautions so that our brothers and sisters may be saved from any kind of temptations and triggers.

(Note :- I really want to share this amazing work of yours on my social platforms, islamic groups and everything but this issue holds me from doing so, in fear that it might lead to some distractions or even major sins).

Allah knows best.

And again

جزاك الله خير for this splendid work of yours. May Allah grant us firmness on His deen and make us an example for the believers to follow ameen.

تقبل الله منا ومنكم صالح الأعمال آمين

ٱلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ ٱللَّٰهِ وَبَرَكَاتُه Muin

Very well written. MashaAllah!

I have been talking on different aspects of this topic within my extended family for some time now. I couldn't have written it better.

May I suggest to also translate the article into Urdu - as many amongst us don't read English articles or prefer Urdu.

If you allow, I will get it translated and also make a final edit to ensure it matches the spirit of the English version . We could then publish in different Urdu newsletters or just share a PDF version.

Do advice.

Your article needs to be read widely. InshaAllah.

I've been thinking the same for quite some time now and this essay has put everything altogether and on top of that it's written very profoundly and comprehensively.

I resonate with these ideas a lot and I want to do similar writings about how the drama industry in Pakistan has also affected us into adopting heretic, delusional and degenerate beliefs.

I knew nothing of Bollywood, never was interested in it. I had watched one film with an old friend years ago mentioned in this article called "Fanaa" and hated it. I cannot believe Muslims are watching this and admiring it! I was shocked as I got further and further in this article in their open degeneracy, blasphemy, and outright disrespect towards islam and Muslims. And to think SRK went into the haram! la howla wa la quwata illahbillah! This was very needed and I hope this article spreads like wildfire. May Allah reward you for bringing this to light amin.
